As Gülay Kanatlı Secondary School, we carried out the Eratosthenes experiment. In the activity we performed by following the shadow of a stick at noon, the angle of arrival of the sun's rays was calculated. Our students made measurements in three different time intervals. Then the circumference of the Earth is calculated with a simple proportion. #Eratosthenesexperiment
Gülay Kanatlı Ortaokulu olarak Eratosthenes deneyini gerçekleştirdik. Tam öğle vakti bir çubuğun gölgesini takip ederek gerçekleştirdiğimiz etkinlikte, Güneş ışınlarının geliş açısı hesaplanmıştır. Öğrencilerimiz üç farklı zaman aralığında ölçümler yapmışlardır. Ardından basit bir orantı ile Dünyanın çevresi hesaplanmıştır.
